San Francisco, here we come! Katharine McPhee AND William Hung? Welcome to the talent capital of America!
I think my blog will be considerably shorter this time, hopefully - I'll try not to nitpick at everyone.
OH! A proposal AND a wedding! I wish they'd done a little piece on that. But no, we fast forward to Tatiana Del Toro an overdramatic Puetro Rican girl with an ugly fake laugh, an ugly animal print dress with a train, and a PSYCHIC! "That is quite naughty." "THANK YOU!; she's not as good as she thinks she is, and she thinks she's VERY good. She doesn't have the right chops - will she just stop singing? And Paulaaaaa, don't say yes. And Randy. Ugh. "They were giving me a hard time, and I'm a DAMN good vocalist."
Well, San Francisco, you never disappoint.

Beatboxing carrot top. Chinese girl. Creepy coat man - nope, don't know any of these people. Thankfully. Creepy coat man looks like he's in pain.
New feature contestant Jesus Valenzuela. My hypothesis is that these little family life features mean he's getting through - his whole family's got signs for him. OH! Bring in the whole family - "C'mon guys, go get 'em!" I like the little boy Gabriel. "Gabriel, I did NOT say no to your dad!"
And oh! My hypothesis has been proven. And Simon hugged a little boy after saying no to his daddy.

Akilah, according to Simon is pronounced "Ahkalah." And she's from Oakland. "WHY DO YOU DO THAT SIMON?!"
Today, I'm not particularly interested. Why does San Francisco seem so generic?

I really like the boy from Sherman Oaks who sang 'Overjoyed' but I didn't catch his name. They should have focused more on him.
Annie Murdoch reminds me of a zombie with the way she moves - and that scream! She's right out of a zombie movie.
And here is Adam Lambert, who has a long feature segment introducing him as well. He's very scene looking. And you have to be seen to be scene. So he's scene. Oh, he's been in Wicked! His voice is SO high, it's nuts! He needs to shave, but I like him as well.
Kara: "I was going to say yes before he said yes!"
Adam has charisma - what a scene kid.

Here's another long closing piece, the longest yet - but so worth it. His relationship with his mother is so sweet, and so believable. Kai Kalama's hair is WILD.
SMOKE GETS IN YOUR EYES! I love this song. It's so hard to pull off - his voice is nice, but his attitude is cheesy, I agree. But it came off as charming. Like Adam Sandler in "The Wedding Singer" sort of charming. And he wants to buy his mom a house!
Well, no one I know on American Idol. Too bad. And I definitely won't known anyone in...Churchill Downs? Where is that? Oh, it's in Kentucky. Okay. See you there!
