Alright, so I couldn't help but change my layout again. The song is, I suppose, a little more depressing than some of my other layout themes. But it's still striking, every time I hear it - I'm not sure why, but I actually like the Vanessa Carlton cover better than the Rolling Stones original.
I think I like the fact that it's a stark slap of realism, pointing out how one person's feelings doesn't keep everyone else's lives from moving on. There's a sort of hopelessness in the lyrics, but not necessarily one of finality, if that makes sense.
Anyway, I think I may keep this one for a while. I'm not too sure yet.
