Perfectly Pointless

Oh. My. God.

It's so hot lately, and I hate it. I woke up this morning and I was already sweating. What do you call the inside of your elbow? Like, your elbow armpit? (I know, that sounded incredibly blonde, but honestly! Is thee any better term for it?) I miss cold weather. I want the fog back - all this sun is yucky, and I'm getting dark. Waaah!
It's so funny, because when it's winter, I complain about how white I am, and now, I'm worried about getting dark. Well, I think I like being light, haha.

Anyways, I watched Beauty and the Beast yesterday - and I decided I'm a lot like Belle. I think that hardly anyone on campus knows what my face looks like, because I'm always reading something. I'm the kind of girl that everyone looks at, but no one ever really gets to know because I'm just too different, because I always want something more than whatever is around. I've read all about a world bigger than all of us in my books, and while I love feeling at home, I sometimes wonder what it's like.

Happy news! I finally finished Guns, Germs, and Steel! It was absolutely amazing, let me tell you.
Yes, it's a science book about geography and evolution, but just trust me, it was amazing. I'm actually really thankful that I took Mr. Meyers' Philiosophy class, just because I got to hear about that book. I really like philosophy, it's just so far-reaching, and changes the way you think about everything. Politicians need a little more philosophy in their lives.
