Happy Black Friday, guys! Haha -- I spent most of today at Stonestown waiting in line at UA to watch One More Chance. It's a Filipino movie with Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. (And Derek Ramsay! Squeeeeeee! He's pretty, lol.) Anyway, it's an *amazing* movie, I cried like a baby, as did nearly all the people in the theater, pretty much all Filipino. It was sort of a 'must,' seeing as it was in Tagalog, haha.
But the movie just clicked with me, because it was all about how sometimes, people who love each other need to go their separate ways and discover themselves. Derek Ramsay's character, Mark, said something along the lines of that you need to be able to be grown-up in order to make a relationship work.
Coincidence was that right as the movie ended and I was walking out of the theater, I opened my purse and pulled out my phone to check the time -- and it was ringing! From Missouri! Needless to say, I answered that call the minute I saw it.
But yeah -- I'm feeling pretty good. TWENTY-SEVEN DAYS! That's less than 4 weeks away. Gah. Actually, I'm a little nervous, but in a good way, if that even makes sense.
