Notice how easy it is to get a person to confess to something you didn't even directly accuse them of.
So basically, I wrote online that I was going to write a novel about mine and my husband's online stalker that has been harassing us – I never mentioned any names or specific details.
Next thing I know, Jenny's page says this:
[Screenshot Reads] "Ms.Victoria Conlu-Austin, I Don't care if you Public my story w/ ur husband. Cuz We both know the truth of wat rly hapn'd.Or wat's happing. Twistin' Evrythin' Rly Prove Who's a LiAR! That's U and Krytal Ramirez or Mamay. If She even those pple exist!
First of all, that means she's been making a conscious effort to look at my online profiles. Second – I never mentioned her name, and she's already sure that I'm talking about her. She confessed to being aforementioned stalker without my help, even though I was trying to be polite and leave names out of it.
But anyway, thanks for making it easier, Jenny. You pretty much waived the confidentiality I was trying to give you. I even changed the names in the story, but apparently, it's alright if everyone knows that it's you.
Anyway, the story is going to contain the real emails exchanged between her and me - I'm a journalist at heart, so I keep EVERYTHING documented and saved in various places in case it'll be useful later.
